3rd question

The Big 4 Musicals ( '')
(Phantom of the Opera & Cats & Miss Saigon & Les Miserables )

At the first time, I have seen the brilliant musical "Phantom of the Opera" in the National Theater when I was 21. It was not easy for me to make up the admission fee(at that time 70,000won) since my family was extremely poor. But , so far, I have never regretted having spent the money. Because I have never forgotten the thrilling feeling of that day penetrating my body & my heart. After the day, I always try to watch some big musical as much as possible. I think that some experiences of cultural performances & exhibitions make people recharge their life power.

Do you have any good cultural experience which has given you a big & new energy?

Hi, Eric!

I have seen a musical just one time. It was Taepung, whose original is "The Tempest" by Shakespeare. It was great but I didn't have the feeling like you. When I think of your question, I don't seem to have such a cultureal experience. In my case, the first going abroad, to USA, was a big culture shock to me. It's something like I was reborn. In the place anyone doesn't know me, I experienced all new and strange culture, food and people. But, the second time when I went aborad, this feeling disappeared from me. It was good but not exciting like the frist time anymore.

Hi, Eric
I have little foreign experience, both travel and culture.
I was rather into Korean Mask Dance. When I was a college student, the political situation was severe. So hidden their identity behind mask just like old days, and speak what they really want to say;usually political satire, irony, and humor. I liked the lines but I usually like the powerful mask dance like Bongsan tahlchum. However, when I saw a perpormance of improvised crane dance by one senior of mine. It was a shock. I can't explain the feeling what I had. Anyhow I liked everything about it, and I ran to the Tal circle.

Hi Eric
cute guy..
As for me, the most unforgettable experience is skydiving and scubadiving. The most happy moment was when I was in Australia backpacking. I flew like a bird without a parachute. Can you imagine? When I walked on the deep sea(The Great Barrier Reef)I could hear my breathing. Alive!
If you have a chance to travel in Australia I recommend you go to Fraser island. The place was not just an island but a paradise.
I stayed there for three days with unknown people. Try !

Hi, Eric!

I have also seen that musical a few years ago at Seoul Arts Center. So fantastic!! How about The Last Empress? That musical is very famous one. THE LAST EMPRESS is an historically accurate portrayal of the fascinating life of Korea's beloved Queen Min and her struggle to steer the hermit kingdom known as The Land of Morning Calm toward modernization. We witness her forging close ties with western nations to keep Japan at bay as it strives to take command of her country, and her eventual demise at the sword of Japanese samurai....
I cried in order to so sad when I saw the ending scene. Try it!!

Hi Eric,
Your blog looks great. I love the theater and recently enjoyed 42nd Street in Seoul.
I think the most revitilizing experiences, for me, involve traveling. I don't think that I'll ever forget the feeling as I turned around on a street corner in Rome to see the Coluseum just standing there...something out of my histories books, right in front of me.
